The New Blog

I can tell everyone a little secret now. The Gay Guru and myself have come up with a new blog This new blog will be for anyone who has HIV/AIDS to write to us and that we will be posting their stories. Unlike other web sites on HIV/AIDS we are not affiliated with major drug companies, sponsors, or the government. This will give the world a unique view of people living with HIV/AIDS. I would also like us to use postings from family members of people who have died or living with HIV/AIDS.

We are going to be doing bi weekly postings. Some of the ideas we came up with are;

1) Featuring one HIV/AIDS med per posting

2) One or two stories of people telling their stories dealing with HIV/AIDS per posting name withheld upon request

3) Benefits people living with HIV/AIDS can receive such as Title 2 to help with medical and utility bills.

4) Links to different sites for HIV/AIDS education and testing

5) Once in awhile doing an editorial

6) Maybe a forum for people living with HIV/AIDS

We will be continuously adding new features to the site. We want anyone to be able to use this site positive and non positive people. One of the things I also requested was that slanderous hateful comments would not be tolerated before signing onto this project. I will be posting the URL for everyone tomorrow and we still have a few bugs to work out technically. With the universes help, I hope this site will become a primary source of information for everyone. We will both be doing postings. My story will be the first one featured and hopefully we regain the worlds attention on how HIV/AIDS is everywhere.
